Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Walk Of Famer Vin Di Bona Announce Hollywood Walk Of Fame Honorees

HOLLYWOOD, CA. June 28, 2016 —A new group of entertainment professionals in Motion Pictures, Television, Live Theatre, Radio and Recording have been selected to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it was announced today,  Tuesday, June 28, 2016 by the Walk of Fame Selection Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

These honorees were chosen from among hundreds of nominations to the committee at a meeting held in June and ratified by the Hollywood Chamber’s Board of Directors. Television Producer and Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona, Chair of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee for 2016-2017, announced the new honorees alongside Leron Gubler, President/CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Max (Louis C.K.) is a spoiled terrier who enjoys a comfortable life in a New York building until his owner adopts Duke, a giant and unruly canine. During their walk outside, they encounter a group of ferocious alley cats and wind up in a truck that's bound for the pound. Luckily, a rebellious rabbit named Snowball swoops in to save the doggy duo from captivity. In exchange, Snowball demands that Max and Duke join his gang of abandoned pets on a mission against the humans who've done them wrong.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic opens this series with Lang Lang's performance of Tchaikovsky's epic Piano Concerto No. 1 conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla conducts music by Beethoven and Ravel in a performance featuring soloist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. An all-Mozart evening and a program of Strauss and Kreisler round out this collection of concerts.
